1) What's new with the 5D software?
- The learning center and the purchase center are located on the 5D embroidery page. There are many Super Fonts now available for purchase and some mini designs. Now you are able to edit old cutwork designs to work with the cutwork needles. You are also able to create your own cutwork designs.
2. Am I still able to upgrade from 4D to the 5D software? Yes you are. We do have the upgrade packages here in the store.
3. Is the new update for the 5D software available? Yes, the 9.3 version is available online for you to download. If you don't want to download the update on your own, I will be happy to install this on your computer.
4) What's the new Designer Diamond deLuxe like?
- If you liked the Designer Diamond, you will LOVE this machine. It has the same 10 inch throat area as the Sapphires, Designer Topazes, and Designer Diamond, with the convenience of a full color touch screen, hundreds of built in stitches, and several exclusive designs. It has a wonderful new feature, Thread portioning, inwhich, the machine reads the weight of the thread being used and adjusts the tensions accordingly.
5) I heard about a new hoop. Tell me about it.
- There is a new Endless hoop, 180 x 100. This allows for larger endless hoop designs. It is wonderful and so easy to use.
6) Were any other new feet released?
- Yes! There were 2 new feet shown at convention. We now have and clear invisible zipper foot that is just wonderful (I have to admit I had never put an invisible zipper in until and convention, and it went in perfectly.) We also have a twin gimping foot with guide which allows you to use a twin needle in gimping. This creates absolutely beautiful stitches. There is also a new Sensor Q foot.
7) Where is everything that you ordered at Convention?
- With any luck, everything we ordered is on it's way here to the store. Due to possible unforeseen popularity, some items may be back ordered.
